The touching story of young Matthew Fiddick and his incredible battle to stay alive. At three he was diagnosed with a massive brain tumour and his parents were told it was unlikely he’d reach four. Matthew however defied the odds with the help of Dr Charles Teo and survived 16 brain tumours and 5 operations.
A moving story of courage and determination.

Unfortunately Matthew Fiddick got his Angel Wings in January 2004 ^Forever 15^ following a further operation in Sydney. Several hundred people from his own family, from his ‘Camp Quality’ family and his huge circle of friends attended the funeral.
IN MEMORY OF MATTHEW CRAIG FIDDICK
There is a little corner of heaven where children can play free of pain, fear, illness and disease and where Mattie will be able to ride his bike with his beloved dogs in the basket and the wind blowing through his hair.
It has been a very long and courageous battle on behalf of Mattie and his family and their courage, pure grit determination and fight has been an inspiration to us all. Mattie’s ‘wicked’ sense of humour and passion for life, playing tricks on people and frankness will be treasured memories.
In summary, this boy has taught us the importance of living life to the full, valuing our loved ones and those things of genuine importance in our lives, and having a positive mental attitude to all we aspire to do.
