Here at the Little Fighters Cancer Trust we do Mandela Day every day of the year, but this year we decided to do a very special outreach at the St. Joseph’s Home, an intermediate paediatric care facility for children with life limiting and life threatening illness, situated in Montana, Cape Town.

Lizelma was accompanied yesterday, Monday 15th, by members from the Paarl Lions Club, who also donated some of the items that were gifted.

As can be seen from the photos, the children were overwhelmed by all the love and gifts of lovely new, warm knitted goodies and blankets, sweeties, popcorn, colouring-in books and crayons.

  • Luff you Auntie Zelma

Our deepest gratitude goes out to the following donors:

  • Lions Paarl – Popcorn and Knitted Items
  • Nashua Paarl – Colouring-In Books and Crayons
  • British Airways – Blankets
  • InXpress – Sweetie Packets
  • Woolworths Laborie, Paarl – Fruit Sweeties

A special thank you to Lions Paarl for always being there for us and for accompanying us on this outreach so that you can see the need for yourselves, experience first-hand what LFCT does and help us spread the love.

Leave us a comment so that we can see whether we are delivering relevant information or not, and please share our posts :-D
